Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Paul Sartre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sartre might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Heartbeats. Winner has chosen Anderson Silva Theme Song as his entrance music. Milo Winner is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Paul Sartre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Milo Winner! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sartre tries to clinch up and Winner counters with a series of strikes. Sartre will be more careful next time no doubt. Sartre connects with a leg kick. Winner looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. A solid leg kick lands there for Sartre.
Sartre misses the shot to the body. Winner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sartre sizes up Winner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sartre throws a right hand that Winner ducks under and follows up with a left that Winner also avoids with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sartre stalks Winner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Winner's face. Winner staggers backwards, shaken. A bone on bone clash there as Winner blocks the leg kick.
Sartre pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Winner sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sartre lands a jab to Winner's midsection. Sartre throws a leg kick and Winner counters with a shoot takedown. Sartre fights it but they end up in guard. Winner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sartre works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Winner looking to pass the guard. Winner is pushing down on Sartre's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sartre is fighting to maintain full guard but Winner has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sartre is pressing down on Winner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Winner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Winner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sartre swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sartre wants to sweep here but Winner controlling him for the moment. Winner tries to free his leg and advance position but Sartre is retaining full guard. Winner throws a strike but Sartre rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sartre stops Winner from standing up. Sartre trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Winner manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sartre's guard. Sartre regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Winner. Winner trying to control the position from guard on top but Sartre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sartre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Winner forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Winner missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sartre works his way to full guard. Good work. Winner throws a big right hand that misses. Winner tries to stand but Sartre is controlling from the bottom. Winner looking to pass the guard. Sartre trying to control the position here. Winner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Winner trying to control but Sartre is working from the bottom. Winner forces his way into half guard. Sartre avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Winner. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jean Paul Sartre will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sartre wants to slow Winner down by chopping away at his legs. Winner avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sartre is looking to land body kicks. A nice inside leg kick there by Sartre. That's going to slow Winner down. Jean Paul Sartre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Winner fails to land with a series of punches.
Sartre bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winner throws a head kick that misses and Sartre counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sartre misses with a right hand and Winner counters with a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sartre lands a head kick. Winner smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Sartre lets loose with a powerful body kick. Winner will feel that in the morning. A head kick misses from Sartre. Sartre throws a jab when Winner was well out of range. Sartre plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A head kick by Sartre misses and Winner counters with a left and a right that stings Sartre. Sartre pivots, looking for a leg kick but Winner is out of range and Sartre settles back down. Winner jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sartre slips a jab and a cross from Winner.
Sartre scores with a one two! Winner had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sartre misses with a right hand and Winner counters with a two punch combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Winner throws a right and a left that both miss. Sartre moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Sartre takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Winner misses with a combination
and Sartre counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sartre. Jean Paul Sartre is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sartre wants to clinch up but Winner keeps it at a distance. Sartre lands a glancing blow to the side of Winner's head. Sartre connects with a body shot that sends Winner's belly button to the back. Sartre connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Winner ducks under a wild hook from Sartre. Sartre slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Winner takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sartre counters with a body kick. Sartre throws a nice outside leg kick. Sartre lands a nice leg kick that just misses Winner's sensitive parts. Sartre throws a body kick the misses and Winner counters with a two punch combo. Winner misses with a wild combination.
Sartre is looking to clinch but Winner is avoiding it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sartre tries to clinch but Winner is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jean Paul Sartre dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Sartre misses with a hook to the body
and Winner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Sartre avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Winner passes Sartre's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sartre wants to control but Winner is keeping busy and won't allow it. Winner wants to stand up but Sartre is controlling the position.
Winner wants to free his trapped foot but Sartre is holding on for dear life with his legs. Sartre is in trouble now - Winner has advanced to mount! Sartre tries to hold on but Winner pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Winner there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Winner unloads with some shots from mount but Sartre bucks and avoids them well.
Winner with a couple of short strikes. Sartre sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Winner thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Winner throwing shots but Sartre is blocking nicely. Sartre blocking the ground and pound attempt from Winner. Winner tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sartre knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Winner passes to full mount! Sartre is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winner punching from mount but Sartre doing a good job of avoiding damage. Sartre bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Winner wants to stand and escape but Sartre is having none of it. Sartre trying to control but Winner is working from the bottom. Winner keeping full guard, as Sartre tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sartre slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jean Paul Sartre just wasn't active enough. Sartre lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sartre lands a nice shot to the body.
A head kick misses from Sartre. Sartre moves in looking to clinch but Winner pushes him off. Some bone on bone action there as Winner checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Winner's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Sartre connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Winner scrambles back to his feet. Winner throws a sloppy head kick and Winner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Sartre lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Milo Winner. I think Sartre has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
