The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kalashnikov is looking for a sweep. Deupreaux is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Deupreaux drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kalashnikov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Deupreaux has Kalashnikov in his guard.

Deupreaux is working an open guard so Kalashnikov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deupreaux moves away from the strike by Kalashnikov.

Deupreaux forces Kalashnikov back against the cage and clinches.

Deupreaux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Avtomat Kalashnikov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Deupreaux tries to bum rush Kalashnikov with a series of wild strikes but Kalashnikov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Kalashnikov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Deupreaux moves away.

Kalashnikov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Deupreaux under the eye.
Kalashnikov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Deupreaux takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kalashnikov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Deupreaux sprawling to the canvas! Deupreaux rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kalashnikov finish him?!

Jacques Deupreaux has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!


Deupreaux is rocked!
Deupreaux leaves his chin hanging out and Kalashnikov seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Deupreaux crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Avtomat Kalashnikov!
