The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namreyrm shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Barkley napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Barkley is trying to control Namreyrm's posture but Namreyrm avoids it.
Namreyrm wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Barkley, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Barkley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
