Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thanks Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Jenson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The key to victory for Thanks Gracie has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gracie goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jenson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jenson keeps the fight on the outside.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Jenson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gracie cracks Jenson with an open hand slap.
Gracie lands a jab to Jenson's midsection.
Gracie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Jenson circles away.
Gracie lands a nice hook to Jenson's body. Jenson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gracie throws a leg kick which misses Jenson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jenson tries to avoid it.

Gracie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jenson doesn't seem bothered though.

Gracie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jenson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Jenson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gracie finds it's way round the side to connect with Jenson's head.

Jenson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gracie to score with a decent uppercut.

Gracie cracks Jenson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jenson falls to his knees and Gracie doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
