Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Prince Naz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kick Ass!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ass darts in and clinches Naz up against the cage.
Ass is looking to control Naz's arms but Naz gets an underhook and turns him. Now Ass has his back to the cage.
Ass stalling.
Ass throws a punch but it's blocked by Naz.
Ass taking a breather.
Ass pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Ass lands a right hand.
Ass misses with a hook to the ribs.
Naz is trying to drag Ass to the mat but Ass just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ass tries a knee to the head but Naz blocks it.
Ass is pressed up against the cage. Naz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ass down to the mat. Ass avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ass's waist but Ass gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Naz off to one side.

and Ass counters with a series of strikes. Naz will be more careful next time no doubt.

Naz moves forwards but Ass connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Naz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ass keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Naz is thwarting Ass's attempts to control the position.
Naz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ass keeps working.
Naz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Naz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Naz passes the guard and advances to mount!

Ass holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Naz tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Naz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ass is working to get back to half guard.
Ass tries to hold on but Naz postures up.
Poor strikes thrown by Naz there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
