Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Dixon! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Dixon.
Dixon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dixon is in Jackson's guard. Dixon postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dixon, into his guard. Dixon keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Dixon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Dixon keeps moving. Dixon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jackson trying to control but Dixon is working from the bottom. Dixon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Dixon keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.

Jack Jackson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dixon digs a good hook to Jackson's body.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and Dixon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Dixon tries to pass to full mount but Jackson defends it. Jackson is trying to stand.
Dixon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dixon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jackson is just riding it out for now. Dixon eventually gives up the hold. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dixon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jackson has managed to free his arm - good work. Dixon is trying to work for a kimura but Jackson is defending well.
Dixon wants to pass to mount but Jackson is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dixon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jackson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dixon is pressing down on Jackson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jackson is holding on for now. Dixon is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon is thwarting Jackson's attempts to control the position. Dixon throws a strike but Jackson avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Dixon stands and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jackson prevents Dixon from improving position. Dixon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dixon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Jackson dodges the ground and pound from Dixon. Dixon trying to control the position but Jackson is working away. Dixon throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Dixon dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Jackson looks to land a combination. Dixon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Dixon moves out of range easily. Dixon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dixon has a takedown stuffed. Good leg kick by Dixon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dixon shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense. Jackson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dixon. Jack Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dixon fails with a takedown attempt. Jack Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Dixon. Jackson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dixon tries to avoid it but Jackson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dixon to the ground. Dixon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dixon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dixon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jackson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jackson is trying to buck Dixon off. Dixon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Dixon is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dixon grinds an elbow into Jackson's temple. Dixon tries for a kimura but Jackson is defending well. You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Dixon misses with the ground and pound. Dixon goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jackson rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dixon's guard! Nice work there by Jackson!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jackson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dixon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dixon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dixon! Dixon stands up. Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Dixon clinches. Dixon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jackson gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jackson pulls guard effortlessly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dixon won't allow Jackson to get back to his feet. Dixon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Dixon has gone for a leg lock! Jackson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dixon's guard. Dixon has his hands on Jackson's head, controlling the position. Dixon looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dixon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson drops back looking for a leg! Dixon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dixon manages to kick Jackson off! Jackson jumps back into Dixon's guard. Dixon is adopting a defensive guard. Dixon trying to keep a closed guard but Jackson is proving a slippery customer.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Jackson has gone for a leg lock! Dixon slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jackson's guard. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Dixon is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dixon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Dixon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Dixon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jackson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jackson's back! Dixon landing with strikes. Jimmy Dixon has got the better of the ground game so far. Dixon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
