Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez has chosen Cocteau Twins - Song to the Siren as his entrance music. Oscar Hernandez has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lopez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hernandez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Lopez stalks Hernandez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hernandez's face. Hernandez staggers backwards, shaken.

Lopez wants to clinch up but Hernandez keeps it at a distance.

Lopez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hernandez tries to avoid it but Lopez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hernandez to the ground. Hernandez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
