PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Pickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velazques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pickel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Cain Velazques enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cain Velazques!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velazques moves away.
Pickel takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Velazques throws a leg kick that misses.
Velazques tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Pickel pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Velazques fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pickel checks it well.
Velazques throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Pickel really is a fat lump.
Pickel checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Pickel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Velazques can pounce on him.

A big left from Pickel misses.
Pickel throws a body punch but Velazques moves out of range.
Velazques throws a low kick, looking for Pickel's leg but Pickel calmly moves out of range.
A clash of legs there as Pickel blocks the low kick.
Velazques fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pickel.
Pickel misses with a straight right.
Velazques walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pickel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Pickel misses with a body shot.
Velazques connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pickel takes a swing at Velazques's ribcage but misses.
Velazques throws a quick inside leg kick.
Pickel is breathing heavily.
Velazques moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Velazques.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Velazques scores with a leg kick.
Velazques lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Velazques throws a leg kick but Pickel sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A jab-cross combination lands for Pickel and sends Velazques crashing to the mat! Pickel follows him down to the mat - Velazques regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Velazques is rocked!
Pickel lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Velazques quite badly. Velazques pulls Pickel in close trying to recover. Pickel postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Velazques on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Velazques doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Pickel!
