Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petr Vondrachek!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Travis Black!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black throws a series of punches but Vondrachek moves out of range.
Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Black is looking for a kimura here.
Vondrachek is holding on to half guard well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vondrachek is trying to maintain the position but Black is very close to passing his half guard.
Vondrachek blocking the ground and pound attempt from Black.
Vondrachek makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Vondrachek.
Black wants to control from the top but Vondrachek keeps moving.
Black is fighting to break Vondrachek's control of his arms but Vondrachek is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Vondrachek is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Black defends well.

Black wants to get up but he can't break Vondrachek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Vondrachek pulls Black in close to his closed guard and prevents Black from doing any damage or advancing position.
Black tries to stand but Vondrachek is controlling from the bottom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Black wants to get up but he can't break Vondrachek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Vondrachek is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Vondrachek wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Black is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Black wants to get up but he can't break Vondrachek's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Vondrachek is adopting a defensive guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Vondrachek trying to keep a closed guard but Black is proving a slippery customer.

Vondrachek manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Vondrachek looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Vondrachek with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Vondrachek has hold of Black's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Black manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Black is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Vondrachek looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Black wants to get back to his feet.
Vondrachek postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Black looks a forlorn figure.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Vondrachek is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Black can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Black is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Vondrachek is landing with some decent strikes but Black is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vondrachek can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Black is looking to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Black defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Vondrachek.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Petr Vondrachek dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Black misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vondrachek.
Black closes the distance looking to clinch
and Vondrachek connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Travis Black has been cut.
Black throws a poor cross that misses
and Vondrachek cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Black waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vondrachek.
Black throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Vondrachek.
Black shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Vondrachek is pressing down on Black's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Black has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vondrachek is proving hard to escape from.
Black is breathing heavily.

Vondrachek is pulling down on Black's head. It's preventing any offense from Black, at least for the moment.
Black in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Vondrachek is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Petr Vondrachek.
Black misses with a combination
and Vondrachek counters with a head kick that drops Black!
Black is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vondrachek arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Black's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Petr Vondrachek!
