Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carolus Augustus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Adolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustav Adolf has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Carolus Augustus's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Augustus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adolf's guard.

Augustus drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Augustus jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Augustus has hold of Adolf's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Adolf manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Adolf dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Augustus. That did some damage!
Augustus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adolf.

Augustus shoots for a takedown but Adolf saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Augustus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Adolf tries to avoid it but Augustus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Adolf to the ground. Adolf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Augustus shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Adolf's guard.

Augustus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adolf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Augustus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adolf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adolf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
