Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fidel Puno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Chigurh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puno comes into the arena with Fidel Entry Song blaring out of the sound system. Chigurh has chosen Kvelertak-Mjod as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fidel Puno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anton Chigurh! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chigurh slaps away a takedown attempt from Puno, before circling back to the center of the mat. Chigurh checks the leg kick nicely there.
Chigurh thows a leg kick but Puno checks it and Puno counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chigurh thinking. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Puno fails with the takedown. Puno misses with a combination
and Chigurh counters with a big head kick but Puno shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chigurh throws a head kick but Puno moves out of range.

It looks like Fidel Puno has been cut. Nice sprawl there from Chigurh as Puno shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fidel Puno. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Puno with a poor takedown and Chigurh counters with a nice uppercut. Chigurh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Chigurh scores with a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Puno sizes up Chigurh with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Anton Chigurh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A chopping leg kick lands by Chigurh. Chigurh throws a head kick that misses and Puno counters with a three punch combo that has Chigurh backing up. Chigurh nods at Puno to acknowledge the strikes. A head kick by Chigurh misses and Puno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Puno blocks a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chigurh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chigurh swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Puno.
Fidel Puno's cut is getting worse. Chigurh tries to clinch but Puno moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anton Chigurh dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fidel Puno's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Puno looks to land a left hand but Chigurh moved out of range nicely. A big right from Puno misses. Chigurh throws a head kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chigurh throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puno takes a kick to the side of the head. Puno throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Chigurh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Puno. Puno circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chigurh stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chigurh wants it to stay on the feet. Chigurh scores with a punch to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chigurh does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Puno misses with a body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Puno checks a leg kick. Chigurh wants to clinch. Chigurh throws a head kick that misses and Puno counters with a single leg into guard. Chigurh didn't expect that. Puno seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Chigurh looking for a sweep. Not yet Chigurh, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Puno trying to control but Chigurh is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Fidel Puno wasn't doing enough on the ground. Chigurh displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Puno. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anton Chigurh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fidel Puno's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Puno lands an overhand right. Puno misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chigurh connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Puno ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Chigurh throws a head kick that misses. Chigurh will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Anton Chigurh seems to be getting the better of the standup. Puno shoots for a double leg takedown but Chigurh sprawls well. He's pushed Puno's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fidel Puno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fidel Puno is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Puno misses with a takedown and Chigurh counters with a good low kick that Puno was not able to check. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Chigurh moves in looking to clinch but Puno pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chigurh pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Fidel Puno's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Chigurh moves out of range of the strikes. Chigurh throws a sloppy head kick and Puno counters with a shoot takedown. Chigurh fights it but they end up in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Puno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Chigurh wants to sweep here but Puno controlling him for the moment. Chigurh wants to stand up but Puno is controlling him. Anton Chigurh is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Puno with a flurry of punches that miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Anton Chigurh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Chigurh winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
