The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hettish shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gomez's guard.
Gomez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gomez wants to get back to his feet but Hettish is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
