The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Scala.
Scala throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Antonio counters with a single leg into guard. Scala didn't expect that.
Antonio is looking to work some ground and pound but Scala has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Scala can do anything to dispel that myth.
Scala wants to get back to his feet but Antonio is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Antonio in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Scala tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Antonio!
