Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Jong Dong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Raevsky! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raevsky just misses with a punch to the body.
Raevsky throws a right and a left that both miss. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Jong Dong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Raevsky was covering up waiting for the punch and Jong Dong finishes the takedown easily into guard. Raevsky pushes Jong Dong off and gets back to his feet.
Jong Dong tries for a takedown but Raevsky circles away easily and Raevsky counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raevsky throws a body punch but Jong Dong moves out of range. Jong Dong misses with a takedown and Raevsky counters with a nice body shot. Jong Dong doesn't succeed with the takedown and Raevsky counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kim Jong Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raevsky dips to his left and cracks Jong Dong with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jong Dong shoots and misses and Raevsky counters with a two punch combo. Jong Dong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Raevsky counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Raevsky takes a swing at Jong Dong's ribcage but misses. Raevsky fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jong Dong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jong Dong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jong Dong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Raevsky counters with a nice body shot. Jong Dong misses with a takedown and Raevsky counters with a left to the body. Jong Dong with a lazy takedown attempt and Raevsky counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Raevsky just misses with a punch to the body.

A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Raevsky looks to score with a jab to the body but Jong Dong is just out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raevsky is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jong Dong rather than just go for the knockout. Raevsky wants to clinch up but Jong Dong keeps it at a distance. A jab from Raevsky does it's job there. Jong Dong has his takedown stuffed and Raevsky counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A head kick misses from Raevsky. Raevsky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jong Dong.
Jong Dong misses with a takedown attempt and Raevsky counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jong Dong thinking. Raevsky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jong Dong manages to avoid it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jong Dong with a lazy takedown attempt and Raevsky makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexander Raevsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Raevsky misses with a shot to the body and Jong Dong counters with a nice double leg into guard. Jong Dong wants to control from the top but Raevsky keeps moving. Jong Dong tries to free his leg and advance position but Raevsky is retaining full guard. Jong Dong trying to control the position from guard on top but Raevsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jong Dong is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Raevsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jong Dong wants to control from the top but Raevsky keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kim Jong Dong wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jong Dong with a lazy takedown attempt and Raevsky counters with a left to the body. Raevsky swings for the body but Jong Dong moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Raevsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jong Dong is one step ahead there. Jong Dong wants to control from the top but Raevsky keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Raevsky trying to control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jong Dong throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jong Dong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jong Dong throwing strikes from guard but Raevsky blocks nicely. Jong Dong trying to control the position from guard on top but Raevsky is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alexander Raevsky. Jong Dong shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Raevsky counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
And that's the end of the fight! Kim Jong Dong showed his dominance in that final round. I think Raevsky has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
