Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bon Fotoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fotoni has chosen Tohtori Krabolan Telekineettinen Testilaboratorio as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcus Randall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bon Fotoni! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fotoni misses with a head kick.
Fotoni shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Randall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fotoni sprawls well. Fotoni wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Randall gets slowly back to his feet. Fotoni shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Randall pinned against the cage. Randall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Horrible takedown by Randall or perhaps it was just good defense by Fotoni which made him look bad. Bon Fotoni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Randall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fotoni. Randall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fotoni moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Randall. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Fotoni pulls guard. Randall works over Fotoni with some ground and pound from guard. Fotoni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Randall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Randall throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fotoni swivels though and keeps the full guard. Randall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fotoni wants to stand and escape but Randall is having none of it. Fotoni keeping moving, preventing Randall from controlling successfully. Fotoni is pulling down on Randall's head to control his posture. Randall wants to control from the top but Fotoni keeps moving.
Marcus Randall has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Randall defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fotoni. Randall shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fotoni napping and manages to drive through into side control! Randall in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randall advances nicely into full mount. Randall with the ground and pound from mount. Randall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fotoni is looking to escape. Randall connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Randall is looking to stand but Randall has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Randall blocks Fotoni's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Randall pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fotoni is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Randall wants to control the pace but Fotoni is squirming around nicely. Randall is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fotoni is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Randall looking to secure an arm triangle but Fotoni defends it well. Fotoni is wriggling around trying to escape.
Randall tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Randall scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Fotoni?
Randall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fotoni is looking to escape. Randall is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Fotoni has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Marcus Randall dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fotoni shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fotoni moves into range and clinches up with Randall. Fotoni breaks from the clinch.
Fotoni throws a push kick but Randall slaps the foot to one side. Fotoni will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fotoni wants to clinch up but Randall keeps it at a distance. Randall tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fotoni holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Randall tries for a takedown but Fotoni manages to get underhooks.
Randall wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Randall is trying to force a seperation but Fotoni has the dominant position. Fotoni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fotoni looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Marcus Randall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bon Fotoni. Fotoni is breathing heavily. Fotoni fails in his attempt to clinch. Fotoni misses with a shot to the body and Randall counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randall passes to full mount! Fotoni is squirming around, avoiding Randall's attempts to control the action. Fotoni tries to lock up and control but Randall gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Randall has hold of Fotoni's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fotoni manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Randall can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fotoni is looking to escape. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fotoni can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fotoni gets slowly back to his feet. Marcus Randall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fotoni shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Randall manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Randall looking for a guillotine here but Fotoni defends easily.
Randall is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Randall is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Fotoni misses with a two punch combination.

Fotoni forces Randall back against the cage and clinches. Randall jumps guard but Fotoni stands there with Randall around his waist. Randall gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fotoni preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Randall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fotoni pulls Randall in to control the position. Marcus Randall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fotoni is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Randall is controlling him. Fotoni takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fotoni can't keep his opponent in guard - Randall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Randall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fotoni defends it well. Randall passes the guard and advances to mount! Randall scores with a couple of good head shots there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fotoni is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Randall looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Randall looking to finish Fotoni with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fotoni! Fotoni is looking to improve his position but Randall isn't that keen on the idea. Randall tries to control but Fotoni wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fotoni tries to hold on but Randall postures up. Fotoni is squirming around, avoiding Randall's attempts to control the action. Fotoni can't escape the position.

Randall wants to finish this one by submission but Fotoni is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Randall. Randall tries to control but Fotoni wriggling away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Randall with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Randall showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Randall, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
