The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson darts in trying to clinch
and Bjork cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Hunter Thompson has been cut.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick
and Bjork counters with a two punch combo.
Thompson takes one to the side of the head.
Bjork cracks Thompson with a good jab.
Bjork lands a head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson misses with a takedown
and Bjork counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Hans Bjork seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson has his takedown stuffed
and Bjork counters with a head kick that drops Thompson to the mat! Thompson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Thompson is rocked!
Thompson tries to clinch but Bjork moves away
and Bjork counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Thompson badly! He tries to strike back but Bjork puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Thompson out cold! Oh man, Thompson will never hear the end of this one!
