Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dante Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawrence's entrance music is Legalize it. A fine choice. Kimbo Slice is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence rushes Slice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lawrence pulls guard successfully.
Lawrence knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slice on the ground.

Lawrence has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Slice off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Lawrence shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lawrence was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lawrence connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Lawrence is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Lawrence gets a clinch.
Lawrence escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lawrence scores with a head kick.
That has opened up Kimbo Slice's cut even more.
Lawrence tries a head kick but it misses.

Slice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lawrence.

and Slice counters with a single leg into guard. Lawrence didn't expect that.
Lawrence is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lawrence wants to stand and escape but Slice is having none of it.
Lawrence had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Slice is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lawrence Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Slice's back instead.
Slice rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Lawrence postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Slice to stand up.
Slice avoids the head kick by Lawrence.
Lawrence has closed the distance and engaged Slice in a clinch.
Lawrence gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lawrence thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Lawrence wants to stand up but Slice has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Lawrence moves into full mount! Slice won't be happy about that!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lawrence is in a horrible position here. Slice smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Lawrence is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Slice postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Lawrence bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Slice and the fight is over!
