Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tharin Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Viedt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Viedt's choice of entrance music: Prophecies. Tharin Jaeger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Adrian Viedt's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tharin Jaeger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adrian Viedt!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viedt closes the distance and clinches up with Jaeger, looking for a takedown. Viedt pushes Jaeger against the cage but Jaeger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jaeger slow jab from Viedt misses its intended target.
Viedt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jaeger but Jaeger pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jaeger misses with a head kick.
Nice sprawl there from Jaeger as Viedt shoots in.
Tharin Jaeger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Viedt.
Viedt shoots for a double leg takedown but Jaeger sprawls well. He's pushed Viedt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Viedt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Viedt jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jaeger manages to avoid the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jaeger parries the strikes from Viedt easily there. Viedt is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jaeger to escape.

Despite being in the dominant position, Adrian Viedt just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well Viedt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
