Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Logan Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watanabe has chosen Bad Man A Step as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Logan Steele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luigi Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Watanabe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Steele throws a predictable looking body shot
and Watanabe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Watanabe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Watanabe landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Watanabe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Steele counters with a three punch combo that has Watanabe backing up. Watanabe nods at Steele to acknowledge the strikes.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Luigi Watanabe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
