The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweedy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Strope counters with a nice body shot.
Strope throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Strope drops Tweedy with a beautiful combination! Tweedy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Strope is looking for the KO!
It looks like Ben Tweedy has been cut.
Strope lands with a big right hook that stumbles Tweedy - he's out on his feet here! Strope follows up with another monster hook that separates Tweedy from consciousness! Tweedy falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Strope stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
