The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li throws a lazy head kick
and Cullen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cullen is stalling here.
Cullen putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Li in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Cullen lands a takedown into guard.
Cullen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cullen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Li hang on?
Cullen working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Li turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cullen off and cradles Li's limp body as Cullen celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Kassidy Cullen!
