Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between john john Avillanoza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Damage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avillanoza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metalica 1 . I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, john john Avillanoza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Damage! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Avillanoza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Damage swings wildly with an uppercut but Avillanoza uses good head movement to avoid it. Avillanoza blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Avillanoza goes for a takedown attempt but Damage pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Avillanoza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Damage tries to clinch and Avillanoza counters with a nice double leg into side control. Damage won't be happy with that. Damage trying to control but Avillanoza flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Damage looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Avillanoza tries to keep control of the position but Damage is staying busy. Avillanoza not allowing Damage to control his hands. Damage tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Damage trying to get back to his feet but Avillanoza is in full control for now. Damage tries to escape the position.
Avillanoza trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Damage doesn't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Damage's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Avillanoza controlling well, preventing Damage from escaping the position.
Avillanoza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Damage tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Avillanoza paws at him with a jab and circles away. Avillanoza tries for a takedown but Damage sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Avillanoza. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for john john Avillanoza. That's going to take a lot out of him. Avillanoza takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Avillanoza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Damage's waist but Damage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Avillanoza off to one side. Damage forces Avillanoza back against the cage and clinches. Stalling in the clinch from Damage.
Damage utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Damage tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Avillanoza avoids it. Damage has hold of one of Avillanoza's legs. Avillanoza is fighting the takedown attempt but Damage gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Damage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Damage engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Avillanoza is breathing heavily. Damage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that john john Avillanoza will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Damage has closed the distance and engaged Avillanoza in a clinch.
Damage tries to work over Avillanoza's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Damage is trying to trip Avillanoza. He has hold of a leg but Avillanoza is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Damage persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Damage wants to control from the top but Avillanoza keeps moving. Damage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Damage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Damage controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Damage would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Max Damage wasn't active enough on the ground. Damage clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damage works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Damage's corner is telling him to maintain position. Damage wants to stand but Avillanoza is controlling his posture from full guard. Damage is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Max Damage has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Avillanoza. A chopping leg kick lands by Damage. Avillanoza tries for a takedown but Damage circles away easily and Damage moves into the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Avillanoza on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Damage misses with a short punch on the inside. Damage throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Avillanoza blocks it with crossed arms. Damage tries a knee to the head but Avillanoza blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A short uppercut from Damage. Damage just leaning against Avillanoza, taking a breather. Damage lands a good knee to the midsection. Avillanoza won't want to take too many of those. Damage misses with a body punch.
Damage breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. That kick from Damage tenderised Avillanoza's leg. Avillanoza is trying to keep his angry face on. Damage gets a double leg takedown into Avillanoza's guard. Damage tries to free his leg and advance position but Avillanoza is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Damage is looking to stand up but Avillanoza won't let him. Damage's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Max Damage was stalling too much, according to the referee. Avillanoza fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for john john Avillanoza. That's going to take a lot out of him. Damage moves into the clinch successfully.
Damage working Avillanoza over with knees to the body. Avillanoza being controlled against the cage. Damage has clasped his hands together around Avillanoza's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Damage working away. Damage wants to stand but Avillanoza has his arm trapped. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Damage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Damage moves into range and clinches up with Avillanoza. A right hand to the body from Damage.
Damage lands a nice elbow. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Avillanoza avoiding damage as Damage throws knees to the body.
Damage jumps into guard, dragging Avillanoza to the mat.
Avillanoza trying to control the position from guard on top but Damage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Damage is adopting a defensive guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Max Damage hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Damage pushes Avillanoza up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Damage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Damage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Avillanoza swats him away and circles back towards the center. Avillanoza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Damage circles away. Damage has closed the distance and engaged Avillanoza in a clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Damage.
Damage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Damage shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Avillanoza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Damage trying to move into half guard but instead Avillanoza has managed to sweep! Damage wants to stand and escape but Avillanoza is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Damage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Avillanoza is standing up over Damage. Damage looks to escape but Avillanoza dives into side control.
Damage can't do much from the bottom here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Damage can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Damage is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Damage is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Avillanoza is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Damage tries to hold on but Avillanoza postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Damage can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Damage comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Damage has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
