Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aruneru Hero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Chris Smith has been cut.
Smith really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hero tries to clinch
and Smith counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hero wants to clinch but Smith slips to the side
and Smith counters with a straight right hand.
Smith throws a chopping leg kick but Hero manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hero tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Smith counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Smith creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Hero wants to get back to striking at distance but Smith won't allow it.
Hero is trying to push Smith away but Smith has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hero is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him.
Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smith lands in his opponent's guard.
Smith wants to stand but Hero is controlling his posture from full guard.
Smith seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Smith stopping the sweep attempt from Hero.

Smith wants to control from the top but Hero keeps moving.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Chris Smith.
A nice combination there by Hero.
Smith forces Hero back against the cage and clinches.
Smith breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Hero, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hero doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Smith counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Smith.

Hero looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Smith is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hero takes a shot to the head.
Smith turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Smith manages to end up in side control.
Hero is trying to control Smith's posture but Smith avoids it.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hero keeps working.
Hero sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hero has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though.
Hero tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith seems to be working for a kimura but Hero defends the submission attempt.
Hero slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Hero looking for a triangle here. Smith is fighting it but it looks tight! Hero pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Smith is tapping out - this one is all over!
