Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Spaghetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Tonkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tonkin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hammer Time. Jimmy Tonkin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddy Spaghetti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Tonkin!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spaghetti closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Spaghetti lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Spaghetti is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Spaghetti postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Spaghetti scoring with some ground and pound.
Tonkin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spaghetti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spaghetti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Spaghetti in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Spaghetti is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Spaghetti drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spaghetti jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tonkin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Tonkin wants to sweep but no luck.
Spaghetti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tonkin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Spaghetti won't allow Tonkin to get back to his feet.
Spaghetti throws a strike but Tonkin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spaghetti is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spaghetti stops Tonkin from standing up.
Spaghetti throws a big right hand that misses.
Spaghetti scoring with punches to the head and body.
Spaghetti trying to control the position from guard on top but Tonkin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tonkin wants to stand up but Spaghetti is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Spaghetti is working Tonkin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Spaghetti postures up and lands a big shot to Tonkin's brow.
Tonkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spaghetti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tonkin wants to stand but Spaghetti is controlling the position.
Tonkin looks gassed!
Spaghetti passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Spaghetti lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Tonkin down.
Spaghetti decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Spaghetti darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tonkin looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Spaghetti maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tonkin could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Spaghetti has cracked it and Tonkin is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Spaghetti!
