Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrus Inko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ricardo Almeida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cyrus Inko! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almeida has a takedown stuffed. Almeida fails to land the takedown. Inko is looking to clinch. Inko forces Almeida back against the cage and clinches. Inko missing with knees to the body.
Inko tries to land knees in the clinch but Almeida avoids the damage to the body. Almeida tries to pull guard but Inko holds him up against the cage and eventually Almeida drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Almeida. That's going to take a lot out of him. Inko misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Almeida.

Inko stuffs the takedown attempt from Almeida. Almeida gets slowly back to his feet. Almeida gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Inko counters with an outside leg kick.
Almeida shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Almeida doesn't succeed with the takedown and Inko moves into the clinch. The referee calls for Inko to work.

That's one minute gone in the round. Inko lands a nice knee to the body. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Inko obliges. Inko landing knees to the head.

Inko throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Inko with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Inko connects with a knee to the head.
Inko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Inko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Almeida has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Inko rushes Almeida and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Inko landing knees to the head.

Almeida takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Almeida moves forwards but Inko connects with a nice, crisp jab. Inko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Inko. Inko thuds a left hand into Almeida's body. Almeida shoots in for a double leg but Inko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Almeida avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Inko moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Inko scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Inko throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Almeida.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inko wants to clinch up but Almeida keeps it at a distance. Almeida misses with a takedown attempt and Inko counters by clinching up. This has been an exciting period of action! Inko gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Almeida.

Cyrus Inko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Inko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Almeida manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Inko. No joy for Almeida on that attempt. Almeida shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Inko counters with a left and a right that stings Almeida. Inko instigates a clinch. Inko prevents the takedown attempt.

Inko using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Almeida has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Almeida is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Inko gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Inko throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Almeida blocks it with crossed arms. Almeida takes a knee right on the jaw!

Almeida has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Inko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Inko scores a nice knee to the body.
Almeida goes for a takedown attempt but Inko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Inko doesn't manage to clinch there - Almeida circles away.
Inko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Inko throws out a leg kick but Almeida moves out of range and Inko only half commits. Almeida shoots in and bounces Inko off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Almeida is looking to work some ground and pound but Inko has wrist control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Inko is trying to keep Almeida in close.
Almeida wants to control from the top but Inko keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyrus Inko dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Almeida closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Inko did well to prevent Almeida getting side control. Almeida wants to pass to mount but Inko is defending the position. Almeida is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Almeida content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Almeida trying to control the action but Inko is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Almeida is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Almeida forces his way into half guard. Almeida in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Inko tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Almeida!
