Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiger Blood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Archie Duncan! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blood misses the body punch so Duncan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Duncan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Duncan throwing strikes from guard but Blood blocks nicely. Duncan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Blood avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Duncan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Blood knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duncan on the ground. Duncan with a flurry of punches that miss. Duncan stands up from Blood's guard - Duncan perhaps looking for a knockout. Blood leaves Duncan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Duncan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Duncan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Blood rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Duncan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Blood's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Duncan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Duncan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Blood is breathing heavily.

Tiger Blood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Archie Duncan. Blood misses with a right hand and Blood takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Duncan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blood is trying to defend but Duncan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Duncan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Duncan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blood's head. Duncan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Duncan seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Duncan throwing shots but Blood is blocking nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archie Duncan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Duncan shoots in looking for a takedown but Blood manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duncan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Duncan dives in and grabs Blood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blood pushes down on Duncan's head and hops out. Blood scores with a sloppy right hand. Duncan should have avoided that one. and Duncan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Blood's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duncan is looking to work some ground and pound but Blood has wrist control. Duncan postures up in Blood's guard and throws a big left but Blood blocks it. Duncan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Duncan wants to control from the top but Blood keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duncan throws a big right hand that misses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Duncan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Duncan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Duncan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Duncan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Duncan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Duncan controls from within his opponent's guard. Duncan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blood is trying to escape the position but Duncan is controlling the position. Blood avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Duncan. Blood parries the strikes from Duncan easily there. Duncan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Blood to escape.
Duncan decides to take the fight back to the feet. Blood misses the body punch and Duncan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Blood! Duncan landing shots from mount. Duncan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blood in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duncan throws some wild stikes that Blood manages to avoid easily.

Duncan looking to finish Blood with some ground and pound. This is bad for Blood! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duncan cracks Blood with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The referee warns Blood that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Blood is rocked! Duncan raining down shots from the mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Archie Duncan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Duncan dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Blood has had enough and taps out.
