Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorge Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Murphy!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy lands with a right hand.
It looks like Jorge Gracie has been cut.
Gracie misses with a takedown
and Murphy counters with a left to the body.
Murphy looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Murphy throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
Murphy falls off balance throwing a combination
so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Murphy dives on top into guard.
Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gracie is looking to sinch up a triangle. Murphy throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gracie's body to avoid the submission. Gracie has instead reached around Murphy's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gracie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
