Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jones Drew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jones Drew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Sparrow! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drew tries to keep at a distance but Sparrow has taken the fight into the clinch. Sparrow ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sparrow no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Drew will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Drew stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sparrow swivels though and keeps the full guard. Drew trying to control but Sparrow is working from the bottom. Sparrow is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Drew wants to control from the top but Sparrow keeps moving. Drew looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drew wants to control from the top but Sparrow keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drew stopping the sweep attempt from Sparrow. Drew wants to control from the top but Sparrow keeps moving.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drew. Drew fails with a takedown attempt. Sparrow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sparrow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Sparrow wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sparrow lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Drew is desperately trying to improve his position but Sparrow has a good base and remains in mount. Drew is in a horrible position here. Sparrow smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Drew tries to hold on but Sparrow postures up. Drew is bucking up trying to escape but Sparrow cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Sparrow avoids the attempt from Drew to control. Drew is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sparrow looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Sparrow trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drew tries to lock up and control but Sparrow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Sparrow pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Drew is breathing heavily. Sparrow can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Drew is looking to escape. Drew wants to control but Sparrow is having none of it. Sparrow get's back to his feet. Drew tries for a takedown but Sparrow circles away easily and Sparrow counters with a shoot takedown. Drew fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jones Drew. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sparrow is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sparrow wants to control from the top but Drew keeps moving. Drew is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Drew has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sparrow has passed into side control.
Sparrow is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Drew has escaped the position, nice work there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Sparrow dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Drew looks to clinch and Sparrow counters with a shoot takedown. Drew fights it but they end up in guard. Drew controlling the position. Sparrow preventing the sweep. Drew is trying to control the position but Sparrow postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Drew wants to sweep here but Sparrow controlling him for the moment. Drew controls Sparrow momentarily but Sparrow frees himself. Sparrow controls from within his opponent's guard. Sparrow is breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Drew fails with the takedown so Sparrow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Drew is trying to keep Sparrow in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparrow trying to control but Drew is working from the bottom. Drew manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Drew scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sparrow sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Drew trying to pass the guard but Sparrow defending well. Sparrow trying to hold on to Drew's head to control him but Drew postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sparrow is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Drew performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Drew seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sparrow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. It looks like Drew is going to stand back up.
Sparrow wants to control but Drew is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Drew with a poor takedown and Sparrow counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sparrow manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Drew stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jason Sparrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drew gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sparrow counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jones Drew. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sparrow stopping the sweep attempt from Drew. Drew wants to hit a switch here but Sparrow passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Drew there! Sparrow looking to control but Drew is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Drew is working to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Drew's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Drew tries to hold on but Sparrow pushes him away. Drew can't escape the position.
Drew is squirming around, avoiding Sparrow's attempts to control the action. Sparrow swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Drew is now in Sparrow's guard. A big mistake from Sparrow there, giving up the dominant position! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drew working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Sparrow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Sparrow is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sparrow lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Drew shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sparrow counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Drew's guard now. Sparrow is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Drew scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jones Drew is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drew tries to clinch up. Drew bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drew trying to control the position but Sparrow is working away. Sparrow stops Drew from passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drew wants to control but Sparrow is keeping him busy. Sparrow tries to buck Drew off but Drew is having none of it. Drew wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sparrow keeps working. Drew working away. Sparrow is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Drew is staying active. Drew trying to control the action but Sparrow is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A nice inside leg kick there by Sparrow. That's going to slow Drew down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Drew gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Sparrow counters with a nice double leg into guard. Sparrow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drew swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sparrow trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Drew is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Drew is working an open guard so Sparrow takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Donk. Sparrow catches Drew right on the button with a cross. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drew shoots and misses and Sparrow counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Drew! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jones Drew. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drew tries to hold on but Sparrow postures up. Jones Drew has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Drew throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Sparrow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sparrow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
