4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Aaron Koscheck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Teddy Sheehan! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sheehan has his takedown stuffed and Koscheck counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sheehan! Koscheck controlling the pace for now. Koscheck seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sheehan for as long as he can get away with. Koscheck wants to control the pace but Sheehan is squirming around nicely. Koscheck controlling the pace for now. Sheehan is in all sorts of trouble here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Aaron Koscheck just wasn't active enough. Sheehan tries to clinch and Koscheck counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sheehan! Koscheck has control of Sheehan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Sheehan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Koscheck is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sheehan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sheehan shrugs it off. Sheehan tries to lock up and control but Koscheck gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Koscheck goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sheehan turns into him and now he's in Koscheck's guard.
Sheehan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sheehan passes Koscheck's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koscheck makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sheehan misses with a takedown attempt and Koscheck counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Sheehan is defending against the submission attempts here by Koscheck.
Koscheck wants to control but Sheehan is keeping him busy. Koscheck is stalling here. Sheehan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Koscheck seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Sheehan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Koscheck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Koscheck tries to get out of the position. Sheehan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Koscheck keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sheehan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sheehan in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Koscheck is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
