Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saul Rubenstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Migeal Quintes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Saul Rubenstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Migeal Quintes! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubenstein darts in trying to clinch and Quintes counters with a right hand to the body. Rubenstein moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Quintes misses with a wild combination.
Quintes throws a low kick but Rubenstein moves out of range easily. Rubenstein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quintes was covering up waiting for the punch and Rubenstein finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quintes wants to get back to his feet but Rubenstein is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rubenstein looking to pass the guard. Rubenstein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rubenstein trying to control but Quintes is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rubenstein trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rubenstein drops back looking for a leg! Quintes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Quintes manages to kick Rubenstein off! Rubenstein jumps back into Quintes's guard. Rubenstein trying to control but Quintes is working from the bottom. Quintes wants to stand but Rubenstein is controlling the position. Quintes keeping moving, preventing Rubenstein from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubenstein working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rubenstein stops Quintes from standing up. Rubenstein trying to control but Quintes is working from the bottom.
We're going to have a standup here because Saul Rubenstein wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Rubenstein shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A punch combination from Quintes misses. Quintes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rubenstein doesn't succeed with the takedown and Quintes counters with a one-two to the body. Quintes looks to land a combination but Rubenstein avoids it well. Quintes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Quintes lands a body shot.
Rubenstein shoots and misses and Quintes counters with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saul Rubenstein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rubenstein misses with a takedown attempt and Quintes counters with a three punch combo that has Rubenstein backing up. Rubenstein nods at Quintes to acknowledge the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Migeal Quintes dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Quintes throws a body punch but Rubenstein moves out of range. Quintes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rubenstein manages to avoid it. Migeal Quintes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Quintes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quintes tries to bum rush Rubenstein with a series of wild strikes but Rubenstein uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Quintes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Migeal Quintes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quintes throws a series of punches but Rubenstein avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rubenstein closes the distance but Quintes moves to the side and Quintes counters with a good, hard body kick but Rubenstein shrugs it off. Quintes connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Quintes throws a head kick that misses. Quintes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Quintes misses with a few strikes there.
Rubenstein fails with the takedown and Quintes counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rubenstein with a poor takedown and Quintes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rubenstein on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rubenstein doesn't succeed with the takedown and Quintes counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Saul Rubenstein. That's going to take a lot out of him. Quintes dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Rubenstein shoots and misses and Quintes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Quintes. Rubenstein does a little dance to reset his feet. Quintes throws a series of punches but Rubenstein avoids them all with ease. Rubenstein fails with the takedown and Quintes counters with an outside leg kick.
Quintes lands the left hand. Quintes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rubenstein. That did some damage!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quintes cracks the inside of Rubenstein's front leg. Quintes throws a head kick that misses. Quintes buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Quintes is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rubenstein rather than just go for the knockout. Rubenstein takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rubenstein shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Quintes's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Migeal Quintes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Rubenstein has his takedown stuffed and Quintes counters with a left and a right that stings Rubenstein. A combination from Quintes does no damage. Quintes scores with a jab to the body. Quintes throws a nice looking combination but Rubenstein bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rubenstein avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Rubenstein shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Quintes is trying to defend but Rubenstein finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rubenstein is working for a kimura but Quintes is defending it quite comfortably.

Quintes is trying to stand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rubenstein connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Rubenstein is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Quintes can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rubenstein goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Quintes turns into him and now he's in Rubenstein's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubenstein controls Quintes momentarily but Quintes frees himself. Quintes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rubenstein pulls Quintes in close to his closed guard and prevents Quintes from doing any damage or advancing position. Rubenstein not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rubenstein is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Saul Rubenstein has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quintes wanted to stand there but Rubenstein had control of the position. Migeal Quintes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Saul Rubenstein just wasn't active enough. Rubenstein shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Quintes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
And that's the end of the fight! Saul Rubenstein showed his dominance in that final round. I think Quintes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
