Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Goerge Cantstandya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Farha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Farha's choice of entrance music: Ari Gold - Let's Hug It Out, BITCH. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Sammy Farha was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cantstandya goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Farha throws a sloppy body shot
and Cantstandya counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Farha is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Cantstandya thows a big elbow that misses.
Cantstandya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Farha swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cantstandya's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Farha is trying to keep Cantstandya in close.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sammy Farha was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Cantstandya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Farha moves away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cantstandya throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cantstandya closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cantstandya wants to control but Farha is keeping him busy.
Cantstandya is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Farha has escaped the position, nice work there.
Farha tries to bench press Cantstandya off him but Cantstandya keeps the position.

and Cantstandya counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Farha's guard now.
Cantstandya postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Farha is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cantstandya, into his guard.
Cantstandya is looking to stand up but Farha isn't so interested in that idea.

Cantstandya throws his legs up looking for a submission but Farha uses it to pass to side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
