George Asdington has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Curtis Longface!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asdington closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Asdington lands in his opponent's guard.
Longface managing to control the position.
Longface not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Asdington trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Asdington could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Longface looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Asdington is in close to Longface's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Asdington thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Longface lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Asdington!
Longface controlling his opponent.

Longface has control of Asdington's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Asdington regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Longface trying to control but Asdington is having none of it.

Longface sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Asdington might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Longface looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Asdington is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Asdington defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Longface.

Longface trying to control but Asdington is having none of it.

Longface working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Asdington looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Longface! Submission of the night perhaps?
