Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jason Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott comes to the cage accompanied by Cliffs Of Dover By Eric Johnson. Aoki has chosen Sandstorm by Darude as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jason Scott has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakazu Aoki!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Aoki, pushing him back against the cage.

Aoki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Scott doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Aoki counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Aoki.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aoki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Aoki's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Aoki trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Aoki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Scott wants to stand and escape but Aoki is having none of it.

Scott working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aoki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aoki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Aoki is in close to Scott's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Aoki's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Aoki advances position into side control!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Aoki lands an elbow.
Aoki looks up at the clock and then as Scott takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Aoki smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Scott is rocked!
Aoki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Aoki scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Scott is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Aoki can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
