And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Mistigris!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mistigris misses with a low kick as Gomaco jumps back.
Gomaco has his takedown stuffed
and Mistigris counters by moving into the clinch.
Gomaco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gomaco with a poor takedown
and Gomaco takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mistigris punishes Gomaco's body with a nice straight punch.
Mistigris fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gomaco, pushing him back against the cage.
Gomaco managing to block the knees to the body from Mistigris.
Gomaco breaks from the clinch.
Kelly Gomaco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomaco on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gomaco throws a head kick that misses.
Gomaco misses with a takedown
and Mistigris counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelly Gomaco. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mistigris pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gomaco back to the cage. Mistigris follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Mistigris throws out a powerful jab.
Gomaco on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

and Mistigris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gomaco is breathing heavily.

Mistigris drops Gomaco with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gomaco looks back up at him and smiles so Mistigris waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gomaco is rocked!
Mistigris throws an overhand right that has Gomaco reeling! Mistigris follows up with more punches and Gomaco is out cold! This one is all over!
