Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vilo Charo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Cameron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vilo Charo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyson Cameron!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cameron shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Charo defends it nicely.
Tyson Cameron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cameron feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cameron is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
It looks like Cameron might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tyson Cameron hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Charo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cameron circles away quickly and effectively.
Vilo Charo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cameron looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Charo is fending him off so far but Cameron persists. Nope, Charo circles away and we're back to standing.

Cameron darts in and clinches Charo up against the cage.

Cameron shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Charo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cameron controls the position.
Cameron's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Cameron closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Charo did well to prevent Cameron getting side control.
Cameron takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Cameron is working for a kimura but Charo is defending it quite comfortably.

Cameron wants to free his trapped foot but Charo is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Cameron fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Charo sprawls well initially but Cameron persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Charo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Cameron tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Cameron fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Charo to the ground. Cameron is now in Charo's guard.

Tyson Cameron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Cameron decides to stand up, so the ref orders Charo to his feet.
Cameron shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Charo sprawls well. Charo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cameron gets slowly back to his feet.
