Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Trevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Trevor's choice of entrance music: Bounce Wimme Now. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright throws a poor cross that misses
and Trevor counters by clinching up.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Trevor tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bright smiles and moves away.
Trevor bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Bright misses with a body shot
and Trevor counters with a thumping low kick.
Bright tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Trevor counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bright's guard now.
Trevor drops back looking for a leg! Bright is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bright manages to kick Trevor off! Trevor jumps back into Bright's guard.
Bright looking to hit a scissor sweep but Trevor is one step ahead there.
Bright might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Trevor working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bright is looking for a triangle but Trevor pushes his legs off easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Trevor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Trevor uses his free foot to push down on Bright's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bright.
Bright wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Bright defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Trevor's arms.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Trevor is looking for a sweep. Bright is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bright misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bright looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Trevor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bright as he avoids it easily.

Bright is looking to control Trevor's arms but Trevor gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bright has his back to the cage.
Trevor tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

I think Trevor has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
