Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clovis Alfred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clovis Alfred!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfred closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alfred lands in his opponent's guard.
Alfred chips away with some ground and pound.
Alfred trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jr looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jr keeping moving, preventing Alfred from controlling successfully.
Alfred is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Alfred engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Clovis Alfred hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jr enables Alfred to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alfred stays in close to Jr's body and controls the position.
Alfred working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jr's head.
Alfred is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jr is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jr has escaped and now he's on top!
Jr wants to pass the guard but Alfred is keeping the position.

Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Alfred is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jr, into his guard.
Alfred must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Alfred tries to free his leg and advance position but Jr is retaining full guard.
Alfred trying to control but Jr is working from the bottom.
Alfred stands up from Jr's guard - Alfred perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Alfred shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Alfred tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clovis Alfred dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Alfred is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jr's half guard.
Alfred thows an elbow strike that misses. Jr gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Alfred doesn't seem too bothered but Jr quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Alfred is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Alfred really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
