Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Travis Rory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kawasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Travis Rory! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Kawasaki! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rory looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kawasaki! Kawasaki keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kawasaki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Rory stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Rory throws a head kick but Kawasaki moves out of range.
Kawasaki doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rory counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rory prevents Kawasaki from improving his position. Kawasaki actively working from the bottom here. Rory wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kawasaki keeps working. Rory is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kawasaki is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Kawasaki is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Rory pulls his head out easily. Kawasaki looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kawasaki looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rory shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rory showed some decent athleticism there. Kawasaki is refusing to be controlled, as Rory sits in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Kawasaki manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kawasaki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rory is looking to stand up but Kawasaki won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rory trying to control the position from guard on top but Kawasaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kawasaki working for a triangle but Rory defends it easily.
Rory postures up in Kawasaki's guard and throws a big left but Kawasaki blocks it. Kawasaki is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Rory frees his head nicely. Oh but Kawasaki has switched to an armbar! Rory is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
