Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soup tries for a takedown but Stone circles away easily
and Stone counters with a two punch combo.
Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Soup counters with a right hand to the body.
Stone defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Soup.
Soup feints and as Stone raises his hands in defense, Soup changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Soup is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Stone has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Soup off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Soup tries for a takedown but Stone circles away easily
and Stone counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lipton Soup. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Soup decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stone's guard.
Soup won't allow Stone to get back to his feet.
Soup loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Soup postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Soup, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Soup is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stone is aware though and is defending well.
