Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Illianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Armando Lozano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Illianenko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Only God Can Judge Me. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Illianenko throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lozano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Illianenko thinking.
Illianenko is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lozano.
A combination from Illianenko does no damage.
Illianenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Illianenko throws a jab but it's blocked by Lozano.
Lozano tries to clinch up.
Lozano throws a predictable looking body shot
and Illianenko counters with a three punch combo that has Lozano backing up. Lozano nods at Illianenko to acknowledge the strikes.

Illianenko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lozano is fending him off so far but Illianenko persists. Nope, Lozano circles away and we're back to standing.
Lozano tries to close the distance and clinch but Illianenko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

enabling Lozano to counter with a crisp jab.
Illianenko looks to land a combination but Lozano avoids it well.
Illianenko cracks Lozano with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lozano throws a lazy right hand but Illianenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Illianenko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lozano's guard.
Illianenko forces his way into half guard.

Illianenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lozano is just riding it out for now. Illianenko eventually gives up the hold.

Illianenko tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lozano knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lozano can do anything to dispel that myth.
Illianenko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lozano with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Illianenko looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Illianenko uses his free foot to push down on Lozano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lozano.
Illianenko tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
