Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wallid Ismail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolex Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Amon Amart . Rolex Gracie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wallid Ismail!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rolex Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Gracie.
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ismail counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ismail controlling from the top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Wallid Ismail wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Ismail fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gracie to the ground. Ismail is now in Gracie's guard.

Ismail shoots and misses
and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ismail manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Ismail in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Gracie pulls Ismail in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Wallid Ismail.
Gracie lands a glancing blow to the side of Ismail's head.
Ismail shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ismail controls the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Wallid Ismail will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Ismail tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ismail is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ismail escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ismail has his feet on Gracie's thighs here. He's pushed Gracie off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gracie screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
