Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny McBride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes into the arena with Survivor - Eye of the Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis throws a low kick but McBride avoids it.
Reis throws a head kick that misses.
A clash of legs there as McBride blocks the low kick.
Reis goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Reis just misses with a punch to the body.
McBride shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Reis counters with an outside leg kick.
McBride dives in and grabs Reis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reis pushes down on McBride's head and hops out.
McBride stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reis.
Reis attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Reis lands a leg kick that knocks McBride off balance momentarily.
Reis throws a head kick but McBride moves out of range.

McBride wants to pass the guard but Reis is keeping the position.

McBride is pushing down on Reis's leg trying to pass to half guard. Reis is fighting to maintain full guard but McBride has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
McBride wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reis keeps working.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Danny McBride hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

McBride shoots in and drives through. Reis sprawls well.
McBride looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
