6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wes Simms! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Polski scoring well with a low kick there.
Simms fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Polski sprawls well initially but Simms persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Simms is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Polski is just riding it out for now. Simms eventually gives up the hold. Simms tries to pass the half guard into mount. Polski knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Simms is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Polski is defending against the submission attempts here by Simms.

Simms looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Simms thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Simms is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? Simms is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Polski is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
