The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sonnen throws a lazy right hand but Vronsky sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Vronsky counters with a left and a right that stings Sonnen.
Vronsky closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Sonnen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sonnen cracks a nice hook into Vronsky's ribs.

and Sonnen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Vronsky makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sonnen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Vronsky tries to bum rush Sonnen with a series of wild strikes but Sonnen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Fail Sonnen will probably get the nod.
