Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaromir Jag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wand Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaromir Jag!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wand Sapp!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Jag lands but Sapp takes it in his stride.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jag looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jag is looking to clinch but Sapp is avoiding it.

Jag throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sapp stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jag.
Jag throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jag throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sapp.

and Jag counters by moving into the clinch.

Sapp changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jag fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sapp tries to keep at a distance but Jag has taken the fight into the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jaromir Jag will probably get the nod.

Sapp is trying to drag Jag to the mat but Jag just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Sapp is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jag pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sapp is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jag has escaped the position, nice work there.

Sapp trying to control the position but Jag is working away.
Jag is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sapp asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Jag trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

I would just about give that final round to Wand Sapp.
I think Jag has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
