Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denis Solyanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denis Solyanko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Spencer! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solyanko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Spencer is trying to defend but Solyanko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Solyanko throwing shots but Spencer is blocking nicely. Spencer manages to get to full guard.
Solyanko has gone for a leg lock! Spencer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Solyanko's guard. Solyanko on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Solyanko tries to get out of the position. Spencer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solyanko wants to get back to his feet but Spencer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Solyanko can't keep his opponent in guard - Spencer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Spencer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Solyanko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Spencer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Spencer holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Spencer defending against the ground and pound. Spencer gets back to half guard. Solyanko sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Spencer defending well though. Solyanko throwing shots but Spencer is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spencer is staying active underneath Solyanko, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spencer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Solyanko throwing shots but Spencer is blocking nicely. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Solyanko is trying to control. Spencer wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Spencer is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Solyanko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Solyanko's back! Spencer trying to control momentarily.

That was a close round but I would say that Denis Solyanko will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Spencer closes the distance looking to clinch and Spencer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Jimmy Spencer has been cut. Solyanko closes the distance and clinches up with Spencer, looking for a takedown. Solyanko pushes Spencer against the cage but Spencer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Spencer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Solyanko swats him away and circles back towards the center. Spencer misses with a takedown attempt and Solyanko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Spencer's guard now. Solyanko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spencer is keeping the position for now. Solyanko stopping the sweep attempt from Spencer. Solyanko trying to control the position from guard on top but Spencer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solyanko postures up in Spencer's guard and throws a big left but Spencer blocks it. Spencer pulls Solyanko in close to prevent any damage. Spencer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Solyanko. Spencer keeping moving, preventing Solyanko from controlling successfully. Solyanko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Solyanko throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Solyanko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Solyanko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Spencer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Solyanko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Spencer won't be happy with that. Denis Solyanko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Solyanko looking to control but instead Spencer has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Solyanko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spencer wants to control but Solyanko is keeping busy.
Spencer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Solyanko kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Spencer is staying active underneath Solyanko, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Solyanko controlling the action here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jimmy Spencer wasn't active enough on the ground. Spencer tries to clinch but Solyanko moves out of range. Spencer shoots and misses and Solyanko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Solyanko. Denis Solyanko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Spencer. Spencer is breathing heavily. Spencer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Spencer keeping full guard, as Solyanko tries to pass. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spencer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Solyanko controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Denis Solyanko dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jimmy Spencer's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Spencer tries to close the distance and clinch but Solyanko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Spencer is looking to clinch but Solyanko is avoiding it.
Spencer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Solyanko counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Solyanko. Solyanko landing some decent shots from guard. Solyanko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Spencer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Spencer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Spencer! Solyanko wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer wants to control for a moment but Solyanko uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Solyanko has one foot on Spencer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Solyanko shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Spencer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Solyanko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spencer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Sloppy strikes there by Solyanko. Spencer regains half guard, as Solyanko was trying to land strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solyanko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Solyanko wants to pass the guard but Spencer is defending well. Solyanko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Spencer's head. Spencer moves into full guard.
Denis Solyanko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Solyanko performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Solyanko is looking to take a break and control but Spencer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Denis Solyanko showed his dominance in that final round. Well Solyanko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
