And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mick Helm!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helm wants to clinch up but Eliot keeps it at a distance.
Eliot looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Helm tries to close the distance and clinch but Eliot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Eliot wants to clinch.
Helm tries to clinch up but Eliot circles away and keeps his distance.

Helm pushes Eliot up against the cage in a clinch.
Helm wants a takedown but no success here.

Helm has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Eliot uses from the top position.

Eliot lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Helm backs up against the cage.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Eliot, right into the meat.
Eliot throws a right and a left that both miss.
Eliot scores with a one two! Helm had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Helm fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Eliot pushes Helm away with a front kick.
Helm tries for a takedown but Eliot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thomas Eliot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Helm.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Helm doesn't manage to clinch there - Eliot circles away.
Helm closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eliot circles away.
Helm tries to clinch up but Eliot circles away and keeps his distance.
Eliot will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Thomas Eliot will probably get the nod.
That's time! Eliot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Helm clinches up with Eliot and pushes him back against the cage.

Helm ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Helm no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Helm is on top in guard.

Helm is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Eliot still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Eliot has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Eliot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Helm keeps working.

Helm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Eliot manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Helm has Eliot in his guard.

Helm is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Helm pulls Eliot in to control the position.
Helm looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Eliot looking to sit in guard and control but Helm gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Helm wants to control from the top but Eliot keeps moving.
Helm is in close to Eliot's body, working some short punches and elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mick Helm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Helm darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Helm works his foot free and advances to mount.

Helm goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Eliot is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Eliot swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Helm closes the distance and clinches.
Helm misses with a knee strike.

Eliot escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Thomas Eliot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Helm tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eliot swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Helm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Eliot has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Helm is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mick Helm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Helm has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
