Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Adolfson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adolfson's entrance music is homie hymne. A fine choice. Ivan Arlovski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Quinton Adolfson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Arlovski! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adolfson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A punch lands to the side of Adolfson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Arlovski punishes Adolfson's body with a nice straight punch. Adolfson shoots in for a takedown but Arlovski shows good takedown defense. Excellent takedown into side control there by Adolfson. Adolfson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Arlovski is looking for a sweep. Arlovski is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Arlovski tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Arlovski manages to work his way to half guard, despite Adolfson's best efforts. Arlovski trying to control here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Arlovski has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Adolfson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Adolfson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Adolfson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Adolfson is breathing heavily. Arlovski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adolfson's guard. Adolfson can't keep his opponent in guard - Arlovski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Arlovski is looking for a kimura here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Arlovski throws a quick inside leg kick. A combination from Arlovski does no damage. Arlovski changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Arlovski keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Arlovski scores with a decent looking hook. Arlovski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adolfson doesn't seem bothered though. Arlovski cracks Adolfson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Ivan Arlovski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arlovski takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arlovski smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Adolfson is rocked! A punch lands to the side of Adolfson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Oh Adolfson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Arlovski scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Arlovski scores with the left hand. Adolfson knows he should have avoided that one. Arlovski fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Adolfson shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Adolfson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Arlovski lands with a big left! Adolfson is wobbled badly! Arlovski comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Adolfson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
