Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juri Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Dumile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dumile has chosen Madvillain - ALL CAPS as his entrance music. Daniel Dumile has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Juri Han!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Dumile!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han throws a sloppy head kick and Dumile moves out of range easily.
Han tried to score with a low kick but Dumile checks it.
Dumile has his takedown stuffed
and Han counters with a nice uppercut.
Han tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dumile swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Han fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dumile is out of range.
Han doesn't manage to clinch there - Dumile circles away.
Han tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Han throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dumile tries for a takedown but Han sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dumile gets a double leg takedown into Han's guard.
Dumile stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Han swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dumile prevents Han from getting back to his feet.
Dumile trying to control the position from guard on top but Han is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dumile is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Dumile might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Han kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Daniel Dumile hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Han lands a head kick. Dumile smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Dumile swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dumile connects with a solid leg kick.
Han with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Han scoring well with a low kick there.
Han scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dumile doesn't seem bothered though.

Juri Han has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Dumile.
Han lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Dumile dodges the punch combination from Han.
Han throws a leg kick that misses.
Dumile checks the leg kick.
Han lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dumile throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Han's waist but Han gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dumile off to one side.
Han thuds his shin into the meat of Dumile's side.
Han tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dumile is able to avoid easily.

and Dumile counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dumile.

Han pushes Dumile off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Han dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Juri Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Han.
Han lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dumile will feel that in the morning.
Han connects with a leg kick. Dumile looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Good leg kick by Han there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dumile shoots in for a takedown but Han shows good takedown defense.
Han fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Dumile takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juri Han dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Han throws a leg kick which misses Dumile's front leg but catches the back leg as Dumile tries to avoid it.
Nice body kick there by Han.
Dumile moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Dumile stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Han.
Han tries to clinch up

and Dumile decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Han's guard.
Dumile pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Han is keeping the position for now.
Dumile in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dumile trying to control but Han is working from the bottom.
Dumile prevents Han from getting back to his feet.
Dumile throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dumile scoring with some ground and pound.
Han is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dumile dives into side control.
Han is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dumile asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Dumile is chipping away with strikes.
Dumile misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Dumile tries to score with some ground and pound. Han controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Dumile scores with a couple of short elbows.
Han parries the strikes from Dumile easily there. Dumile is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Han to escape.
Han avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dumile.
Dumile in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Dumile creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Han sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Dumile tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dumile has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dumile trying to control the action but Han is working from the bottom.
Han prevents Dumile from moving into mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daniel Dumile showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A head kick by Han misses

and Dumile counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Han!
You get the feeling that Han really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dumile punching from mount but Han doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Dumile misses with some ground and pound and Han recovers position to half guard.
Han is trying to stand.
Dumile has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dumile wants to free his trapped foot but Han is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dumile is trying to control the action in half guard but Han is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Han looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dumile is looking to advance position but Han won't allow it.
Dumile throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dumile looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Dumile wants to lay and pray for a moment but Han keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Dumile passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Han!

Han is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Han trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Han is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Dumile throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Han because Dumile loaded up on that one.

Han is squirming around, avoiding Dumile's attempts to control the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dumile looking to control but Han is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Dumile is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Han can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Han is squirming around, avoiding Dumile's attempts to control the action.

Han shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dumile shoots for a takedown but Han saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Han will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Han does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Han is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Han is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dumile is on top in guard.
Han keeping moving, preventing Dumile from controlling successfully.
Dumile keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Han's head.

Dumile drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Han dives on top into guard.
Dumile looking for a sweep. Not yet Dumile, not yet.

Dumile is trying to keep Han in close.
Han wants to stand but Dumile is controlling his posture from full guard.

Han got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dumile has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Han has managed to get both his arms back between Dumile's legs - danger averted.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dumile looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Han puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Han decides to return to a standing position.
An inside leg kick lands from Han.
Han feints and then cracks Dumile's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dumile down.
Han throws a body kick that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Daniel Dumile comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dumile has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
