Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Cardoso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson Cardoso told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.

The fight stays on the outside here - Cardoso looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lopez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cardoso moves in looking to clinch but Lopez pushes him off.
Lopez looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lopez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cardoso swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Cardoso is looking for a triangle but Lopez pushes his legs off easily.

Lopez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cardoso's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lopez looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Cardoso looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Lopez is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cardoso is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
